The content editors had full control over the creation and publishing of content via our CMS, as well as extensive moderation and reporting facilities for the message board. While the advertising team had direct ‘inline’ access to the advertising content to enable them to directly manage the 'monetised content'.
The website saw record traffic with over 3.4 million video clips viewed on the website during the show’s run. ITV has credited the Britain’s Got Talent website as a significant contributor to the growth in traffic to itv.com of 21% month-on-month over the last 5 months.
