Boxharry hosted “Moving Image” for Wired Sussex on the 21st of July 2010 at their office in Dukes Yard, Duke Street: a barbeque event for people who work in the film, TV and Broadcast industry in Brighton.

A mixture of Boxharry clients and broadcast and production professionals attended the outdoors event, and luckily the weather behaved itself, so the long evening was enjoyed to the fullest, with the event finishing around 9:30pm.

The warm atmosphere made people quickly feel comfortable, as one guest commented, “It's always slightly unnerving turning up on your own at these sorts of things, but I was made to feel very welcome and it was only a couple of moments before someone put a beer in my hand and got chatting away”.

The good feelings seemed to be universal, as another stated that “The food was delicious, the new office (and courtyard) are great and the people were lovely too (I'd like to include myself in that!). It was a very nice evening and I shall look forward to the next one!”

The barbequed freshly caught mackerel had everyone talking, and a variety of salads, breads, and other barbequed meats expertly produced by Explosive Events, as well as a drink or two, were also consumed with great pleasure.

An interesting experience for all those involved, it brought together a large amount of people from different aspects of one business, and built a lot of contacts between the likes of editors, animators, web designers and many more. Thanks to the Brighton Media Centre for the loan of the chairs.
